The new house is coming along beautifully. There is still a lot to do, but we love it here(!), and the work is now manageable.

I'm happy. We finally have our home. :)

Moving

We bought a new house. It's about 10 minutes from where we are now and I should be excited. But the truth is I'm scared. It's an awesome house, very cool, with an indoor pool (which is incredibly rare around here). But it's also a fixer-upper, a major fixer-upper. I love this house but I'm very worried that it might be more than we can handle.

1st Post. Yeah!

This is incredibly strange for me. I've never blogged before and I wonder how many people are actually going to read this blog. It's a strange concept for me, the idea that I can type something here and it can be read by people all over the world. Strange and cool all at the same time.

About the name of the blog, I choose it because Jorge Garcia said if you want something write it down and right now, today, going into another cold winter, there is nothing I want more than a two week vacation in Hawaii. At least temporarily, I would like to be JonesyfromtheIsland.
